What is ethical hacking
So firstly I will tell you that ethical hacking is legal in all over the world and it is not a criminal activity. we can also say that ethical hacking is also known as white hat hacking. There are various methods of hacking like as phishing method etc. we can say that ethical hacking is legal in all the world.

There are two types of hacking
1. White hat hacking
2. Black hat hacking


1. White hat hacking
White hat hacking or ethical hacking and is legal in all over the world. Ethical hacking includes the techniques how to get protection from hackers(black hat hackers ) and the way of learning how we can get protected or can overcome from being get hacked.

Precautions
1.Firstly don't open any unsuspicious site or unwanted or unauthorised site these site can have malwares and viruses and if we visit these types of sites our system gets infected by the malwares or viruses. Sometimes we downloads songs and videos from the sites various sites includes popups like as download now free download etc. when a visitor clicks on them the viruses or malwares are downloaded through them(popups advertisements). So don't open these types of sites.

2. The viruses or malwares can also come from the unwanted pen drives so don't insert any unwanted pen drives or s-d cards these devices can have malwares and can infect your computers.

3. Don't open any unwanted mail attatched with a file this can have malware like as ransomeware which a dangerous virus ever found which locks your all the files of your computer system all the files has been encrypted and only the virus/malware sender can decrypt the files with a special key the sender can demands for the money to unlock the files so please don't open the unwanted mails or the mails you thinks that the email address of such types of mails is doubtable otherwise you will lost your system data.

4. If accidently you became the target of such viruses so make a backup of your data in an external hard drive so in case of such malwares where your data has been encrypted so you can access your data from the external backup source.

5. Always use a good antivirus for your system and switch your firewall on always so that it can protect your system from malwares entering to your system.

6. Always get updated from your window otherwise your system can be hacked if your window is not updated.


So these were the some precautions to protect you from the virus attacks or cyber attacks.

2. Black hat hacking
Simply black hat hacking means that the persons who are stealing information not legally from the computers of others. The black hat hackers points out the defect in the system and enters in your systems illegally and steals your protective information this can be your bank account details credit card details etc. and through this details they can hack your bank account. So be careful from these types of unwanted activities. Black hat hacking is totally illegal in all over the world so please don't try to enter into any other system without the permission of that person otherwise you can be punished for that by the cyber crime department and can be a jail of 5 to 7 years maximum.
